Clamming and Cooking 101
May 11th, 1-4 pm
Cost: $15
Learn about clamming regulations, different types of clams, and how to harvest clams. Spend some time trying your hand at harvesting, then join Laura in cooking up some clams! We’ll be doing a simple boil and clean followed by a light sauté of the clams in a butter garlic sauce.
Please have your clamming license, a bucket, and a digging tool. Be aware that if you use a small hand tool you will be crouched down over the hole while you’re digging for clams for longer than if you use a long handled shovel.
