This in-person, 2-hour babysitting training program is intended primarily for teenagers and others who are planning to provide babysitting services for young children and infants. The program includes instruction on the business of babysitting, proper supervision, basic care giving skills, and guidelines on how to recognize and handle problems that may occur. This program is not intended to meet any regulatory requirements for childcare providers.
This program has no prerequisites, but additional training in CPR, AED, and First Aid is highly recommended.
At the end of the training session, if the student has demonstrated adequate knowledge and skill competency, the instructor will issue a certification card.
