Craft Club
Craft Club is the place for kids who love to get creative! Each week brings a brand-new project and a chance to explore different materials and techniques. From colorful crafts to imaginative designs, there’s always something fresh to try. Whether your child likes to dabble or dive right in, this club is all about making art an adventure!
Days: Tuesdays, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24
Time: 2:50pm-4:30pm
Cost: $65 (for 6 week session)
Location: Blaine Elementary School Cafeteria

Creature Making Club
Creature Making Club is for all the silly creatives! Come explore different ways to bring imaginary creatures to life. Kids will be encouraged to design their own unique creatures and transform them through a mix of 2D and 3D projects. From drawing to building, this club is all about turning wild ideas into reality!

Instructor Bio:
Avianne Engstrom is a recent graduate of Western Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in art education. They have a deep love for art and recently served as the Special Activities Coordinator at the BBBPRD2 summer camp. With over four years of experience working with kids, Avianne believes every child brings their own unique perspective and personality. They strive to celebrate those differences and encourage each child to let their individuality shine.

Slime Science Lab
Get ready for a gooey good time this March! In this hands-on workshop, kids will explore the science behind slime while creating their own colorful, stretchy concoctions. We’ll dive into experiments that teach about polymers, chemical reactions, and the properties that make slime so fascinating. All materials are provided, and participants will take home their custom slime creations. It’s the perfect mix of science and sensory play—educational, messy, and loads of excitement!

Pretzel Making Night
Join us for an unforgettable night of hands-on baking! Learn how to mix, twist, and bake your own soft pretzels from scratch. Our instructor will guide you through each step, from creating the perfect dough to adding your favorite toppings like salt, cinnamon sugar, or cheese. Whether you’re a seasoned baker or a beginner, this class is all about enjoying good company and great food. All ingredients and supplies are provided—just bring your appetite and creativity!

Take the Stage: Creative Performance Skills
Lights, laughter, and limitless imagination! This club invites kids to explore creativity, try new things, and express themselves freely. Through energetic games and imaginative activities, youth develop storytelling skills, teamwork, and confidence in a space where being bold and silly is always encouraged!

Page to Stage: Scene Study
From page to stage, bring stories to life! This class teaches young actors how to transform stories into dynamic performances while building confidence on stage. Students learn to collaborate with partners, explore character development, and perform short scenes in an environment that supports skill-building and self-expression. It’s an excellent space for kids to grow their acting skills, express themselves, and experience the excitement of performing together.
Dates: Wednesdays, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27
