We believe strongly that educating participants at a young age on both the benefits and the proper implementation of strength training will encourage a lifetime of healthy movement as well as athletic development for sport.Coach Kyle brings 17 years of coaching experience to the course as well as 15 years of experience as both a professional soccer player and ultra-runner. Teen Programs - Teen Open Gym We are excited to offer several new programs for teens! From our Teen Strength Trainings to Board Game Nights, and more, we thrive to bring diverse activities for our teen population.Teen Night:Join us for Teen Night, an exciting event for teens ages 13-16, featuring a variety of fun games and activities, delicious pizza, and much more! The Teen Strength Training Camp with Coach Kyle Long is back for a six-week session every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.This 6-week course is designed to introduce youths to the primary concepts of strength programming, with an emphasis on teaching proper gym etiquette, movement technique and methods of progressing a strength training program over time. We believe strongly that educating participants at a young age on both the benefits and the proper implementation of strength training will encourage a lifetime of healthy movement as well as athletic development for sport.Coach Kyle brings 17 years of coaching experience to the course as well as 15 years of experience as both a professional soccer player and ultra-runner. He specializes in building strength training programs for individuals of all ages and abilities and is excited to lead this program tat BBBPRD2!Every Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Birch Bay Activity Center, from November 4 to December 11, 2025. $40 for all six weeks, two times a week.Registration is necessary. Open Gym - Saturday Open Gym Play Family Open Gym sessions are available every Monday and Friday from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Birch Bay Activity Center. Additionally, for the summer season, we have added a new time slot every Thursday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Blaine Pavilion. This is a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy playing basketball, indoor soccer, or just running around. Please note that caregiver supervision is required for this activity. The best part? It's completely free to participate and no registration is needed. So gather your loved ones and join us for some active fun and bonding time!This is an unsupervised program for Kids 12 and under.
